Job Purpose Job Purpose Description Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.Troubleshoot issues in furnaces, rolling mills, conveyors, cranes, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical systems.Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and calibration of machinery.Support production teams during machine changeovers, shutdowns, and emergencies.Maintain and update maintenance logs, checklists, and spare parts records.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.Follow all plant safety rules, participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.Identify opportunities for cost reduction, equipment improvement, and efficiency enhancement.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documents.Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repair tasks.
