About the internship A. Accounting & bookkeeping: 1. Record journal entries accurately in the accounting system 2. Post transactions to ledgers and prepare the trial balance 3. Assist in the finalization of accounts at a basic level 4. Prepare bank reconciliation statements to reconcile balances B. Taxation & GST: 1. Process GST registrations in compliance with applicable regulations 2. Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 with proper exposure 3. File Income Tax Returns for individuals and businesses accurately and within deadlines 4. Manage TDS calculations and ensure basic compliance requirements are met C. Audit & compliance: 1. Assist in statutory audit processes and audit coordination 2. Perform vouching and verification of financial records and transactions 3. Support MCA compliances and filings with basic exposure to regulatory requirements 4. Prepare and maintain audit documentation and working papers Software & tools: 1. Tally/Accounting software 2. Excel for accounting & reporting 3. Government portals (GST, income tax, MCA) Stipend Details A stipend will be provided for graduate and postgraduate candidates who have successfully completed the course and demonstrate required skills during the internship.
